I began training with Eric in Jan 2016, He is a great trainer and is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his work. When I first started my journey, it was a struggle, but working with Eric made things look easy. Eric is very patient and encouraging and his words of wisdom is what makes me keep moving forward. I've tried several diets throughout my life and never succeeded as well as I have since I've been training with Eric. He always has something new for me to try. Eric takes the time to sit down with me every couple of weeks to make sure I have a good work out for the week.                

Working out isn't all about doing the work it's also about your food you take in. Eric made the time to make out my eating plan to the point that it's become my everyday meals. I'm very happy and pleased with our success. You can do anything if u put your mind to it. When u decide to train with Eric I promise you will succeed in your goals and be very happy with the results…I know I was!

The training I prefer is Power lifting and cross training. Big three lifts mixed with endurance training. (Squats, Bench and Deadlifts) 3-6 times a week.

7 lbs muscle gained, increased 1 rep max on all 3 big lifts by 15-20%.


   Eric is much more detail oriented than any other trainer I’ve encountered. He’s able to design a workout for any fitness level and any goal.  Before, working out on my own, I wasn’t able to get steady increases in my major lifts (Squats, Bench and Deadlifts), regardless of what I did.  Eric discovered that I had several imbalances which compromised my form, and thus, my strength.  Upon doing the corrective exercises, I started seeing gains. I’m an avid amateur athlete, having participated in sports ranging from tennis, hockey and soccer to snowboarding and Crossfit.  I played competitive hockey until after I graduated college, and now participate recreationally. 

   I started because I am limited in my time and thus wanted to maximize my results.  Also because I wanted a bit of extra motivation that comes from working with a trainer.

   My fitness goal is important because I want to gain strength and overall conditioning, and maintain an active lifestyle for a long time.  That seems silly to think about at 26, but working 60-80 hour weeks (most of which is mind work), it’s important to keep a steady balance of mental and physical fitness.

Before Eric in one word, inconsistent.  Always active, never balanced. 

After working with is it was considerably more balanced and structured, but no less active.

By far the most returns I’ve seen has been the corrective exercise.  It has significantly improved my skating and snowboarding, as well as my lifts.  Overall, working with Eric is fun, the importance of which can’t be stressed enough. Makes motivating myself easier, and I look forward to the sessions.


"I have struggled with my weight since I was about 9 years old. I didn't grow up in a health conscious house hold; my parents always had food on the table, but it definitely wasn't healthy. I never learned how to eat healthy, and unfortunately that continued to affect my lifestyle. I was always overweight, but I gained the most weight in high school, hitting 180 pounds. I joined a gym in about 10th grade, but barely went. When I did work out, I really had no idea what I was doing. I wasn't even able to run a half a mile without thinking I was going to collapse. Once I graduated high school, I knew it was time to take my health seriously. I looked up some exercises to do, and would just use the machines at the gym; I was going about 3 times a week. I didn't understand why I wasn't losing any weight after doing this for almost two years. I fell into a deep depression and knew I had to do something. I contacted Eric about training me. Eric and I had a very professional consultation where he asked me about my current exercise routines, eating habits, and talked about what goals in want to achieve while working with him. When we began working out together, it was fun and helpful at the same time; I looked forward to our days together. I saw results while working with him. He trained me in kickboxing, weight lifting, and cardio. He also gave me meal plans and tips about how to control my diet. Unfortunately, our schedules didn't quite match up well and we aren't meeting as much now, but I continue to use the tips and exercises that Eric taught me on my own. I have lost a total of about 35 pounds between the before and after picture. I am still not completely where I want to be, but I'm a lot closer and happier, and my journey is not over! I highly recommend having Eric as a trainer, and asking him for exercise or nutritional advice!"


"Weight loss since working with Eric was rapid at first, about 12 pounds in a few weeks. Keeping it off is challenging but lately there has been a major transformation and lots of muscle growth. There is still body fat to lose. Seeing the work payoff is its own reward! I have come to terms with the fact that I am not 25 anymore and things happen more slowly. I will never have the body I had 25 or 30 years ago, but I can honestly say I am happy with the body I have now, and it's still a work in progress. I have always had a focus on fitness and health and have used many different paths over the years, from gym weights, to bicycling outdoors to spin classes, to yoga, running and other stuff. I work as a chef and food is always around so I probably eat too much. Food doesn't burn off as fast as it once did. I actually eat less now, but weigh much more. I have been working with personal trainers on and off since about 1993 and I can honestly say I have never seen more results than I have with Eric. Eric keeps me motivated by his own body which is an inspiration. We have similar body type and if I had worked at it I probably could have looked like Eric in my 20s and 30s. Eric also stays totally focused on my during our sessions which is very helpful and keeps me on point. It's easy for me to cry and whine now that things are too hard, but Eric keeps me from sinking into that defeat. Eric is not harsh, but he is quietly encouraging and he pushes me much harder than I would push myself. Eric is always very professional but at the same time warm and he really cares about me and my progress (or lack of sometimes) and this is a really key point. I know he cares and he is looking for me to be my absolute best. I'm not just money to him. I feel that and know it. And it works."


"Before meeting Eric I was training for several years with different trainers over time. I would consider myself living a fairly healthy active lifestyle. I had been a gym guru for at least 10 years. I am also an avid "spinner". I attend 2 spin classes weekly as well as doing cardio. Never did I strength train or use weights on my own! I was way too intimidated to use weights without a trainer, for fear someone would watch me and know I was doing it wrong.

I will never forget the first time I met Eric. He introduced himself to me, and I remember saying, "I want you to listen to me"!!! He was probably saying, “Oh boy what am I getting myself into"!!! I have had many trainers over time and didn't seem to find the right connection. All I wanted was to lose weight, get healthy, and have someone take my personal needs and wants into consideration. That's when he performed an assessment on me, and I said "please, I'll do anything but squats", and he said in a reassuring way, “were going to have you doing squats in no time"!!! I was in denial! Many trainers didn't listen to what my injuries were and thought I was just being lazy, which was the exact opposite. Eric told me we will strengthen the areas around your injury and build you up to doing squats. I didn't believe him! I didn't think doing squats was in the equation. Boy was I wrong!!!! It was training with hi m that all my knee pain went away and I was doing squats on a regular. His approach to fitness isn't like any trainer. His extensive knowledge and passion is like no other. He cares about you as an individual as well as what goals you are looking to achieve. He built me up to things I never thought I would ever achieve. His positive outlook kept me motivated. I looked forward to our sessions together because I knew he believed in me, that I could do anything I put my mind to! I was at the bottom of the road with my training, and if it wasn't for him, I probably would've let my prepaid training go to waste! He got me out of my comfort zone as well. I would never train with anyone but him! Eric takes your personal needs and feelings before his. He is not like any other trainer, his credentials go beyond. It’s his passion for health and nutrition that make him who he is today. After training with him, I am much more confident. I now have explored new activities and exercises that I would've never done before. I am also at my healthiest I've been in a long time. Meeting Eric got me out of that "rut" I was stuck in!!! He's the best!"


"Lost 12lbs and counting…When I met Eric, I was just beginning to get motivated to take my exercise and nutrition more seriously because of looming medical issues. I was definitely more talk than action, and I give Eric much credit for finding a way to encourage me to ease into making more of a commitment towards better health. That half hour of working out three days a week with him in the morning leaves me feeling energized and ready for the day.
